This track was commissioned by Music Network in our first Lockdown in Ireland in April 2020. We were blessed with great weather even though it was a dark time. In the garden one day a wee birdie cheered me up with his birdsong and so I used his opening phrase and the piece developed from there. It was amazing how much I got from this little creature's song and I am really grateful. It literally means Voice of the Morning or Sound of the Morning which are the birds, who were in great voice at that time of year. It has also been called Dock Road tune.
